Would you like to become affiliated with the CPL Institute to teach PHECC courses?
We are pleased to introduce our new Affiliate Programme for Instructors beginning in April 2026, developed with enhanced digital solutions to make course delivery and administration simpler, faster, and more efficient. These new systems have enabled us to significantly reduce the costs of our Affiliate Programme.
- Why choose the CPL Institute?
- PHECC certificates issued within 5 working days of course completion (possibly sooner).
- No annual membership charge.
- No instructor monitoring charge.
- No printing of paperwork, as all required materials will be posted to you.
- No exam marking required, as our online system will correct exams automatically. Internally and externally verified.
- No need to purchase a tablet. Course requirements can be submitted using a smartphone or laptop, whichever suits you best.
- No trips to the post office, as paperwork can be submitted digitally through your smartphone.
- Discounts on PHECC Instructor Recertification courses
You should be able to complete everything on the last training day, travel home, and be confident that the course was submitted, and the learners will be certified within five working days. We will also notify you once this has been completed so that you can inform your client that all PHECC certificates have been emailed to the course participants. Copies of PHECC certificates will also be available on request.
- To become a member of our CPL Institute Faculty and to deliver training as a PHECC Instructor affiliated with us you will be required to provide us with:
- Personal information and company information
- Evidence of qualification/competency, including PHECC Instructor Certificates/CPG Training
- Insurance Cover
- CV
- References & evidence of previous courses delivered
When we receive your details we will go through it all and our Training Manager will be in touch with you.
Contract & Induction
If you are NOT already part of our instructor faculty, you will be required to complete:
(If you already deliver training for us, the below would already be in place.)
-
- Contract, a service level agreement and a role profile
- An online Equality & Diversity Awareness course
- An online GDPR Awareness course.
- Induction Training including teaching ethos and our quality management system
- Sign a declaration of the equipment you have and use as part of the delivery of PHECC programmes. This includes manikins, training AED’s and associated equipment.
The online courses will be provided to you free of charge.
Course Monitoring
We are required to ensure we monitor the quality of our services in compliance with PHECC Education and Training standards. An Assessor may visit you at some point to ensure the course is being delivered in line with our quality system requirements and is taking place as agreed at the time of booking.
A report and clear compliance are required to ensure you remain part of our faculty under our ATI responsibilities. This will be discussed further with you at Induction.
Course Costs:
The cost is €25 per learner, which includes all administration and PHECC certificate.
There is a minimum charge of four learners per course. This ensures the cost of registration, internal/external verification, quality assurance, and administration of the course is covered, the administrative process remains the same regardless of the number of participants.
- This means:
- 4 learners: €100 (minimum charge)
- 5 learners: €125
- 6 learners: €150
- 7 learners: €175
- 8 learners: €200
What will you receive for each course?
- We will post the following to you at no additional cost:
- Eight pocket masks for your first course (replacements provided annually)
- Replacement valves for each subsequent course
- Course Paperwork (Attendance sheet and, as a precaution, exam answer sheets in case there are any internet issues when accessing the online exam)
- Pen
Course Exams & Skills Assessments
Learners will complete their exams online using their smartphones by scanning a QR code. They will receive their results by email within 1-minute of exam submission. The instructor can submit learners’ skills assessments using a phone, laptop, or tablet. Learners will also be able to access a First Aid Manual and CPG handbook through a QR code on the course presentation.
Once the course has been completed, simply scan or take a clear photograph of the attendance sheet and email or WhatsApp it back to us. Your course paperwork will then be fully submitted.
